Amid lingering economic slowdown from last year, Ginebra San Miguel Inc. ended the first quarter with slightly lower volumes, mitigated by relevant campaigns and an in-store promo that sustained the brand equity of flagship Ginebra San Miguel and reinforced recovery of Vino Kulafu.

Alongside selling price increase in February, Revenues increased to Php16.7 billion, 3% higher than last year. Income from operations of Php2.8 billion was 15% higher through supply chain efficiencies, while Net Income expanded by 9% versus last year to Php2.3 billion.
