Ginebra San Miguel Inc. bounced back in the third quarter of 2020, with a 3% increase in volumes year-on-year, wiping out the deficit of 10% in the first semester. Volumes were driven by strong performance of core brands Ginebra San Miguel and Vino Kulafu. Also, GSM Blue sustained a double-digit growth of 13% versus last year.
As volumes recover, nine-month Net Sales reached P25.3 billion, an improvement from previous year by 18%. Operating Income rose 41% from last year to P3.1 billion, resulting in Net Income breaching the 2-billion-peso mark, at P2.2 billion.
