Ginebra San Miguel Inc. (GSMI), the market leader in the gin segment, proudly maintained its quality and excellence marks as its brands won various awards in the 2016 World Quality Selections of the Monde Selection International Quality Institute, the world’s most prestigious body that recognizes the highest standards of taste and quality in the food and beverages industry.
GSMI’s flagship heritage brand Ginebra San Miguel emerged as the biggest winner bagging anew a Gold Quality Award and an International High Quality Trophy. GinebraSan Miguel now has a total of nine Gold Quality awards and three International High Quality trophies. The International High Quality Trophy is given to brands that won a gold medal for three consecutive years.
GSMI’s premium distilled spirit brand Ginebra San Miguel Premium Gin and the reformulated GSM Blue also bagged Gold Quality awards, while flavored gin brand GSM Blue Flavors Mojito won a Silver Quality Award.
Newly-launched Primera Light Brandy also earned the nod of Monde Selection’s distinguished panel. The light premium brandy won a Silver Quality Award.

Aside from acclamations from the World Quality Selections, Ginebra San Miguel remains the world’s no. 1 selling gin according to The Millionaires’ Club 2015 of leading global drinks journal Drinks International.
It reported that Ginebra San Miguel earned more than five times bigger in sales volumes than its nearest competition in the category.
