“GINUMAN FEST” ENDS WITH A BANG
Music lovers were treated to an evening of great music with an array of OPM hits as well as the hottest chart-toppers and party anthems dished out by the country’s top bands and GSMI band endorsers Callalily, Itchyworms, Kenyo and Rocksteddy.
The different GSMI brand ambassadors also joined in the fun including actresses Anne Curtis and Maja Salvador; models Solenn Heusaff and Georgina Wilson; professional surfer Luke Landrigan; dancer/host Jhong Hilario; actors Paulo Avelino and Dingdong Dantes; and Barangay Ginebra San Miguel players Dylan Ababou, Marnel Baracael, Elmer Espiritu, Robert Labagala and Paul Rico Maierhofer.
Now on its second year, the nationwide concert series kicked off last January in Tarlac City and went around different provinces including Davao, La Union, Laguna, Cebu, Antipolo, Pampanga, Cagayan, Aklan, Cavite, Batangas, Nueva Vizcaya, Quezon and Camarines Sur.
Concert-goers got the chance to sample GSMI’s wide array of liquor products including Ginebra San Miguel, Ginebra San Miguel Premium Gin, G.S.M. Blue, G.S.M. Blue Light, G.S.M. Blue Flavors, Gran Matador Brandy and Antonov Vodka, as well as its non-alcoholic beverages. A total of P100,000 in prizes were also given away to lucky game participants.
“Ginuman Fest” is GSMI’s way of thanking its millions of “kalahi” for making its flagship product, Ginebra San Miguel, the world’s largest-selling gin.
This year’s staging easily surpassed last year’s total attendance of about 100,000 participants. A bigger Ginuman Fest is expected to be mounted next year as GSMI’s flagship brand Ginebra San Miguel celebrates its 180th anniversary.
